My first guest on Tea time with Ali Monjack is Staff Nurse of 25 years Constance Goodling. Constance who is Semi retired now but runs a bame community group in Reading first started working for the NHS in the 70’s when she arrived from her birthplace the Carribean.

The NHS is now 72 years old and Constance still has a love of the institution that was started in 1948 the same year the Windrush generation arrived many of whom were part of the NHS from the beginning. It takes a lot of dedication to be a nurse who puts other people’s lives ahead of their own and we are all thankful for our NHS heroes everyday.
